Season 31, for one evening

Planning an evening at Global Village: Season 31

Global Village's Season 31 began on 14 October 2026, and organisers expect it to run until May 2027. This guide is built around a single evening out: picking the quietest night or the latest one, reaching the gates by Metro bus or by car, and — once you're through the gate — what our entry ticket actually pays for, and what still costs extra once you're inside.

When to go for an evening

Season 31 began on 14 October 2026 and is due to run into May 2027. Doors open at 4pm every day: Sunday to Wednesday they close at midnight, and Thursday to Saturday, plus any public holiday, they stay open an extra hour, until 1am. The gate itself stops letting people in 30 minutes before whichever closing time applies.

Tuesday is kept for ladies, couples and families, unless that Tuesday happens to be a public holiday.

Getting to the gates

No car needed: three RTA routes run in season — 103 from Union Metro, 104 from Ghubaiba bus station, and 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro. (A fourth, bus 102, also serves the park, but the English and Arabic pages name two different starting stations for it, so none is given here.) Buses run roughly 3:15pm to 11:15pm, and the ride itself takes about half an hour.

If you drive, three free zones serve the gates: P1, P3 and P5, each roughly 400 to 450 metres from the Gate of the World. Beyond those, paid parking runs AED 120 a day near the main entrances, or AED 75 by the Happiness Gate, and a further AED 200 buys a VIP spot — waived if you already hold a VIP Pack.

What our ticket covers

Our Global Village entry ticket covers admission to the pavilions, the entertainment shows and the cultural exhibitions, along with the fireworks and parades the park puts on around its events and holidays. Admission is all it pays for: what you spend inside is extra.

What's inside each pavilion comes down to the nation it stands for, according to the official site: that country's own crafts, its own food, its own stage performances.

Shows are part of that same admission: the official events calendar lists concerts, a laser light show and stunt performances through the season, and our ticket's inclusions cover entertainment shows generally.

What still costs extra

Rides and games at the Carnaval sit outside the ticket: the official site sells ride points separately, and one example we found — the Arabian Horses ride — costs 15 points a person. Shopping, dining, Wi-Fi and, if you drive, parking are all pay-as-you-go too.

Spending more, rather than less, is also possible: a VIP Pack. The Silver tier, the cheapest of them, was priced at AED 1,890 and bundled 100 VIP entry tickets when Coca-Cola Arena sold it — the only retailer for these packs. We don't carry it ourselves; its official number sits on the card above.

Access and house rules

Entry is free for children under 3, for guests over 65, and for people of determination with one companion; valid photo ID is asked for at the gate. A wheelchair can be hired for AED 20 a person and a stroller for AED 55; children are given a safety wristband at the ticket booths.

Dress modestly, and leave segways, scooters, bicycles, hoverboards, skateboards and roller skates at home, since none of them are let inside. Pets aren't permitted either, and filming on-site needs a permit.

Your Global Village evening, answered

When does Global Village's Season 31 start and end?

It began on 14 October 2026, and organisers expect it to continue until May 2027.

What time does Global Village close?

Midnight on quieter nights, Sunday to Wednesday; an hour later, at 1am, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and public holidays.

Is Tuesday a family evening at Global Village?

Yes: ladies, couples and families get Tuesday to themselves, unless it lands on a public holiday.

How much is a Global Village entry ticket?

When we last checked, the official site listed AED 25 for a Weekday ticket and AED 30 for an Any Day ticket; our ticket's live price sits on the card above.

Does the entry ticket include the Carnaval rides?

No: rides, games, food, drinks, souvenirs and Wi-Fi are all listed as excluded; only the pavilions, the shows and the entry fee are covered.

How do I get to Global Village without a car?

RTA buses 102, 103, 104 and 106 run to the gates in season, from about 3:15pm to 11:15pm, with the ride itself taking roughly half an hour; 103 starts at Union Metro, 104 at Ghubaiba and 106 at Mall of the Emirates.

Is parking free at Global Village?

Yes, in zones P1, P3 and P5, roughly 400 to 450 metres from the Gate of the World; paid parking elsewhere runs AED 120 a day.

Is there a VIP Pack for Global Village?

There is, though it isn't something we sell. Its Silver tier cost AED 1,890 and came with 100 VIP entry tickets, available only via Coca-Cola Arena, the last time we looked.

We re-checked the season dates, hours, bus routes and parking on the official Global Village site on 5 November 2026. Its VIP Pack page wasn't reachable that day, so that price is carried over from the last time we read it — worth confirming again before you book.
