Plan your Yas Island visit

Which Yas Island theme park should you book — and for how long?

Yas Island in Abu Dhabi holds four big parks: Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld and Yas Waterworld. The island's own multi-park page puts 6 to 7 hours on each one, which is the number that should set your plan, not a ride list. This guide starts from your trip — how many days you have, who's coming — and lines up the official facts against what we sell.

Plan by days, not just parks

Yas Island's own multi-park page puts 6 to 7 hours on each park, just to work through its rides and experiences. That is the number to plan around, before you look at a single ride.

Three of the four — Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and Yas Waterworld — also run a strict policy against stepping out and back in, so once you've left for the day, that park is done. Squeeze two parks into one day and you will rush both.

Doing two parks or more? Yas Island sells a Multi-Park Experience: pick 2, 3 or all 4 parks on one booking; the clock starts at your first park and runs for 6 days to fit in the others. Yas Island's own estimate puts the saving at AED 200 to 700 against buying each park separately, scaled to how many you add.

We sell single-park tickets to all four. For a one-park day, the pair of prices on each card above tells you what you need; for two or more, add up our tickets and weigh that total against the official pass before you commit to either.

The rule that actually decides who's free

Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and Yas Waterworld all price a ticket by height, not age: one rate from 1.1 m up, and a junior rate below it, because a handful of rides at each park are closed under that line.

SeaWorld works differently. It prices by age: 2 and under come in free, and anyone 3 to 11 needs an accompanying adult who's also paid for a ticket.

Free entry for the very young also differs by one year: under-3s go free at Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World, while Yas Waterworld's free line sits a year higher, at 3 and under.

Clearing a park's own gate doesn't clear every ride's. Formula Rossa keeps its own bar at 1.40–1.95 m, so check that specifically before promising a child the headline ride.

Indoors, outdoors, and what to pack

Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World both describe themselves as fully indoor parks, held at a steady 24°C regardless of the Abu Dhabi weather outside.

SeaWorld is indoor too, spread over 5 levels and about 183,000 sqm across 8 realms — though its Arctic and Antarctica realms run properly cold, and the park's own advice is to bring a layer.

Yas Waterworld breaks that pattern entirely: a water park, where the rules that matter are about what you wear, not the thermostat. Proper swimwear or swim nappies only, no inflatable floats, and free life jackets in every size.

What the parks charge, and what changing your mind costs

Online, the parks' own prices run AED 345 at Ferrari World and at Warner Bros. World, AED 375 at SeaWorld, and AED 295 at Yas Waterworld. Buying at the gate instead costs more: AED 360 to 380 at Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World, and AED 305 to 325 at Yas Waterworld, depending on the season.

None of the four official tickets can be cancelled once bought. All four will let you push your date back instead — AED 50 a head — as long as you ask by 19:00 on the evening before you're due. Our own price sits on the matching card above, read live from the ticket itself, with its free-cancellation window if it has one.

Getting to Yas Island from Dubai

Yas Island's own figure is 75 minutes by road from Dubai's airport. Parking at the parks themselves is free.

Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld both mention a daily return coach from Dubai for ticket holders — the current timetable lives on the operator's own site, not here. Guests already staying on Yas Island can instead ride the complimentary Yas Express between the hotels and the parks.

Questions about Yas Island's parks

I only have one day on Yas Island — which park?

One: Yas Island's own estimate is 6 to 7 hours per park, and three of the four shut their gates the moment you step out for the day.

Is the Multi-Park Experience worth it?

Only once you're doing two parks or more: Yas Island puts the saving at AED 200 to 700 versus buying separately, scaled to how many parks you add, with 6 days from your first visit to fit in the rest. Sticking to one park? Weigh our card price above against the official one before you decide.

What's the height limit for Formula Rossa?

1.40 to 1.95 m, by Ferrari World's own rule for the ride; no separate weight limit is published.

Which park lets the youngest children in free?

SeaWorld, where 2 and under go free; Yas Waterworld's free line is 3 and under; Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World both draw it at under 3.

Can you avoid the heat completely at Yas Island?

At three of the four, yes: Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World are fully indoor at 24°C, and SeaWorld is indoor across 5 levels. Yas Waterworld isn't part of that trio — it's the water park, where what matters is what you can wear, not the AC.

Do all four parks run the same cancellation rules?

Yes across the board: none can be cancelled once bought, and all four let you shift your date instead for AED 50 a head, as long as you ask by 19:00 the evening before.

How far is Yas Island from Dubai?

75 minutes by road from Dubai's airport, by Yas Island's own figure, with free parking at the parks themselves.

We re-checked every park fact and official price on the parks' own sites and Yas Island's on 5 November 2026 — rules and prices move, so double-check the operator's page before setting off.
