About this experience

Escape the city and travel deep into the Argentine countryside on this small-group full-day gaucho experience from Buenos Aires. Visit the historic town of San Antonio de Areco, the heart of gaucho tradition, and spend the day at a traditional estancia (ranch).

Enjoy a perfect mix of culture, food, and countryside with horseback riding, a traditional Argentine BBQ (asado), and live folklore entertainment.

Choose between our Authentic family-run Farm Day, where we will visit a family-owned ranch in San Antonio de Areco for more than 50 years, and the Original Day at a farm to visit El Ombu de Areco, the most popular and first quality ranch in the town.

Select the Exclusive Day at the Farm for a private tour service at El Ombu. At the estancia, there might be other groups.

    San Antonio de Areco´s Village

Visit a traditional silversmith's workshop, where skilled artisans craft exquisite pieces like mates and belt buckles, preserving gaucho traditions. Afterwards, a stop at a local chocolate shop provides a sweet contrast. These two brief stops perfectly showcase Areco's enduring craftsmanship and delightful local treats.
