Your experience begins at Yagrumo Restrobar in Fajardo, where you will meet your guide and then follow in your own or rented vehicle to the rainforest. Transportation is not included, and Uber, taxis, and ride-share services are not permitted for this route.
Once inside the rainforest area, enjoy a fun and active adventure through natural trails, muddy paths, wet rocks, and river surroundings. Half-Day El Yunque Rainforest Tour Itinerary
1. Meet at Yagrumo Restrobar, Fajardo: Meet your guide at Yagrumo Restrobar, Hwy 985, Fajardo, PR 00738. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure. 2. Follow the Guide to El Yunque: This tour does not include transportation. Guests must arrive in their own or rented vehicle and follow the guide in a convoy to the rainforest. Uber, taxis, and ride-share services are not permitted for this route. 3. Rainforest Adventure: Explore the eastern side of El Yunque with your local bilingual guide. The trail includes natural terrain, muddy paths, wet rocks, and river areas. 4. Natural Pools & Water Activities: Swim in refreshing natural pools and enjoy optional activities such as the natural waterslide, rope swing, and cliff jumps. Life jackets are provided. 5. Tour Ends After the Rainforest Experience: Once the rainforest adventure is complete, guests may continue with the rest of their day independently. Estimated Duration: Approximately 4 hours. Please note: This tour does not include transportation or a food stop.

- Be Adventure Ready: This is an active rainforest experience with 35+ minutes of hiking on muddy, uneven terrain. Good physical condition is required. Ages 5–59.
- Proper Shoes Are Required: Wear sneakers or closed-toe water shoes with good grip. No sandals of any kind, flip-flops, Crocs, or slides. Expect to get completely wet and muddy.
- Come Prepared: Bring water, snacks, a towel, and a waterproof phone pouch. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
- Arrive on Time: Please arrive early and contact your guide if you’re running late. A maximum 10-minute grace period may be provided when notified. Late arrivals are considered no-shows.
- Check Your Email: Tour times may be adjusted for safety, weather, or guest flow. Any changes or important instructions will be communicated before your tour.
