Your adventure begins with a comfortable ride in an air-conditioned vehicle to the eastern side of El Yunque, where your local bilingual guide will lead you through a natural rainforest trail to refreshing river pools and waterfalls. El Yunque Rainforest Tour Itinerary
Meet at Norte Shopping Center : Meet your guide at Norte Shopping Center, Calle Norte, San Juan, PR 00915. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure for check-in. Transportation to El Yunque: Relax in an air-conditioned vehicle as we travel from San Juan to the eastern side of El Yunque Rainforest. Rainforest Adventure: Follow your local bilingual guide through a natural rainforest trail with muddy paths, rocks, and river crossings while learning about Puerto Rico’s nature, history, and culture. Natural Pools & Water Activities: Cool off in refreshing natural pools and enjoy optional activities such as the natural waterslide, rope swing, and cliff jumps. Life jackets are provided. Local Food Stop in Fajardo: After the rainforest adventure, stop at a local family-owned restaurant in Fajardo where you can purchase authentic Puerto Rican food and drinks. Return to San Juan: After the food stop, relax on the return ride to Norte Shopping Center, where the tour concludes. Estimated Duration: Approximately 7 hours. Important: The 1:00 PM departure does not include the food stop.

Know before you go
- Be Adventure Ready: This is an active rainforest experience with 35+ minutes of hiking on muddy, uneven terrain. Good physical condition is required. Ages 5–59.
- Proper Shoes Are Required: Wear sneakers or closed-toe water shoes with good grip. No sandals of any kind, flip-flops, Crocs, or slides. Expect to get completely wet and muddy.
- Arrive on Time: Please arrive early and contact your guide if you’re running late. A maximum 10-minute grace period may be provided when notified. Late arrivals are considered no-shows.
- Check Your Email: Tour times may be adjusted for safety, weather, or guest flow. Any changes or important instructions will be communicated before your tour.
- Booking as a Group? If your group made separate reservations, contact us in advance so we can try to keep everyone together.
- Come Prepared: Bring water, snacks, a towel, and a waterproof phone pouch.
- No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
