The XC Forest ride is a popular destination for families, offering a thrilling experience for children who are trying out their new sport of mountain biking. The level riding conditions of the XC Forest ride make it easy for parents to accompany their children. With the assurance of our truck support, parents can relax and enjoy the ride without worrying about their children's safety.

As the ride progresses, the breathtaking scenery of Mae Kuang dam provides a welcome break for everyone. After a morning of exhilarating mountain biking, a late lunch and a refreshing swim in the dam make for the perfect end to a great day.

Trip: From deep jungle to the Mae Ping River Basin, trip can be easily modified to suit all level of riders

Location: Doi Saket... to Mae Ping River

Biking time: approx.: 3-4 hrs, 22 km

Elevation change: 300 feet (100m)

Riding Conditions: Rural country, farm road, single track

Flora: Plantations, eucalyptus, pine forest, tropical Jungle

Hotel pickup 930 am
930 am hotel pickup brings us to "base camp", our shop in the center of Chiang Mai where we get fitted for bikes, helmets and gloves.

10:00 am drive to the Mae Jo valley, Rain forest trail head
A 45 minute drive gets us to the east side of the valley .

10:30 am its off on the single track trail through the forest
With so many trails to choose from we can match the trails with our kids riders so everyone is having fun. The trails through this forest are perfect for learning and practicing .

Cross country ride to Mae Kuang Dam
After mastering the single tacks, its off to level double track and country road to Mae Kuang Dam, this quiet way pass along forest and lakes until we arrive at the lake. Fully supported, everyone is making it to our goal.

2 pm arrival at lake Mae Kuang
Excellent views , a heart lunch and a swim at MAe Kuang awaits us at the lake , our final destination .

330 pm return to the hotel
A 45 minute drive gets us back to the city and back to the hotel
