Taste traditional favorites such as hearty stews, and slow-cooked meals that reflect the fusion of African and Caribbean influences developed in that era.
Meet local cooks and artisans who proudly share the stories and traditions behind these dishes, each bite offering a genuine connection to Curaçao’s history and soul.
Our final stop immerses you in the soul of Curaçaoan culture. Discover the meaning behind our traditional dresses, the art of the headscarf (angisa), and the stories they tell.

Learn about our history, how it all began, who built the forts and what they were used for.

Capture unique photographs with our guides on the Queen Emma Bridge as you relive the history of this ancient floating bridge.

Admire the amazing buildings of Punda as we arrive at Wilhelmina Square. Here you will have the chance to learn about the name of our island, the famous word Dushi and Chichi while having the opportunity to take fantastic photographs.

As we continue to admire the amazing buildings of Punda and take some photographs here and there, we will continue towards the old market, where you will learn and taste some of our local foods.

After eating some local food, we will continue to a wonderful lady who has been selling the best local sweets for years.

As a final stop, we request a special demonstration of how to wear a headscarf just for our tourists. Please note that having your photo taken is not included in our tour.
