Head into Morocco's Sahara Desert on a camel and watch the sun set over the Erg Chebbi Dunes. This overnight tour offers spectacular views and a chance to experience the desert nomad lifestyle. Eat a traditional Moroccan tagine, take part in a drum circle, and sleep in an authentic Berber tent. See pink flamingoes at an oasis near Merzouga, and search for desert reptiles and mammals as you trek.
Day 1: Erg Chebbi Dunes– D Ride your camel over the dunes and view the stunning desert scenery. Enjoy a traditional desert welcome in the Berber tent where you will spend the night. Take a sunset camel ride, try sand boarding, and in the evening, enjoy a Moroccan campfire dinner and drum circle before falling asleep under the stars.
Day 2: Erg Chebbi Dunes–B Watch the sunrise from Algeria as it catches the dunes, and enjoy a camp breakfast before heading back through the Erg Chebbi dunes to Merzouga.

- Dear Guests,
- Welcome to Hotel Kasbah Mohayut! Upon arrival, please meet Koro or Aicha at reception with your voucher. Enjoy the garden or pool until departure. The camp team will drive you with the Jeep to the camel park for your trek. Summer departures are at 18:00, other seasons at 16:00. Parking available. Pack essentials for your trip. Contact us for any questions. We look forward to your visit!

- Small backpacks/bags are appropriate for camel trek into the desert with overnight stay
- Resealable baggies for desert excursions help keep sand out
- Dress in layers for variations in temperatures, casual and comfortable. Short/long sleeve tee-shirts, shirts and blouses, trousers, long skirts, bathing suits for beach areas/pools. Please note Morocco is a Muslim country and modest type clothing is appropriate, avoid provocative clothing. Respect of local customs in this welcoming country is a courtesy that is appreciated. For example, access to Mosques and holy places is forbidden to non-Muslims
- Walking/hiking shoes, sandals, and sneakers
- Hat or scarf, sunglasses, and sunscreen for protection from the sun
- Personal Rx/prescription medication for entire duration of your trip should be carried with you as it may not be available at local pharmacies
- Personal over-the-counter medications/items such as pain relievers/fever reducers (aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen), topical antibiotic, hydrocortisone, cold/cough/allergy medicine, anti-diarrheals for travelers diarrhea, Band-Aids, hand wipes, insect repellent, and contact lens solution
