Located on the West Coast of the Island, the walk to Farol de Dona Améila will bring you along the mountainside man made path with magnificent views of São Pedro & Santo André Beach and the Fishing Village in action! In the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean below, you may have the opportunity to witness sealife such as, dolphins, sea turtles, mantarays and more. Arriving at the picturesque lighthouse, Dona Amélia, take a moment to relax and watch the sun set into the endless Atlantic Ocean.

- Please note: The majority of this walk follows a safe, well-established road along the mountainside, offering beautiful open views of the surrounding landscape throughout. As much of the route runs along the mountain edge, guests who are particularly sensitive to heights or prone to vertigo may want to keep this in mind when booking. The path itself is completely safe and suitable for most people.
